I am happy I easily settled into retirement.

Some of my friends and colleagues still are in the rat race. Their salaries and lifestyle are pretty much known to me as I was on the same journey.

Life ends with little or no notice for most. If I get notice ahead of time I have no loose ends to take care of to wait for that day.

I’ve seen too many get sick or develop conditions that significantly reduce quality of life.

My advice is leave the work force as soon as you can.
