No, since the oilfield went down in Alberta, it poured over all other jobs such as construction and many other jobs, people are finding it hard to find work.

@MikefromEP: I live in the Peace Region and I heard that the oil field is picking up, my husband is a carpenter, and where he works they laid off a lot of guys because people just weren't spending the money, a friend of ours who works at the bank said that people are dropping off the keys to their houses more now than ever.

@saintchantal: But at the same time... How many toys did those people have thinking their job would last forever? 3 quads, a new camper.. things like that. Many out purchase what they actually make
