Scenario

Ralph, a technician, is leading a project and is being assisted by Carol, an engineer. As per advice of Carol, Ralph gets Anna, another technician, involved. Ralph and Carol email back and forth for a few days copying Annal. After a few days Carol replies to the email - but this time doesn't cc Anna - and writes -
Upon further thought this is a complicated task and I would like to have an engineer involved instead. Please keep Anna involved as we may need her help later.
Ralph responds copying Anna -
I worked on something similar earlier in my career and it didn't take long at all to learn. I will train Anna - it will take maybe twenty minutes
Was it inappropriate for him to copy Anna?
