Sounds like where I used to work, had a woman who could say anything negative about anything a person liked or had that she didn't have or whatever. I mentioned one time I saw a rose-printed sofa I really liked and she started in saying how ugly they were. Everyone got silent on that one. Later on she told someone she worked with that every morning at the breakfast table her husband would look at her and tell her she was so ugly he didn't know why he married her. What a hell marriage and she stayed with him.

He is not happy
Because that person is no more than a broken husk of what he wanted to be so takes out his impotence towards life on the people around him?.

@FloorGenAdm: Sorry to hear that. But at least the boss is aware of the problem. So if anything else happens down the line. She knows full well what is going on. Maybe let HR know about the problem coworker.

@bhatjc: I'll keep that in mind, however the boss and HR are the same person.

@FloorGenAdm: Ah damn that sucks. Just keep plugging a long. Maybe the boss will get tired of the coworker
Because they just plain suck.
