I'm been watching a Mick Jagger interview and remembering one of those mentors I had
Friends, powerful elders that have come to my life and gave me their attention and time to lift me up, to teach me and empower me...
And I am realizing how I am all alone right now or so it feels. Maybe I am not. Maybe later on, when I gain greater clarity of my field I will be able to see these people around me too.
but right now I do feel like I am missing this guy. He died when I was training in China. I called him once, he was one of the very few people I have spoken to when in the training school. And the reason I called him was because I received a message of how his terminal cancer is leaving him with few more weeks left. He said he's in bed on his laptop all day and I joked with him about him doing "archive work" he laughed hard at that, he kind of liked it.
His name was Desmond - des mondo as he used to say, of the World.
And funny thing is, he shared some kind of energy with Mick Jagger haha
I remember his bright blue eyes and funny laughter, he used to do a diabolical kind of laughter that later was turning into a natural laughter. He was the one who planted the idea of Nepal in my mind, as he had traveled in Nepal and told me about his journey.
I think he had been here with me in spirits for a while. I think he's now gone. Thank you for reading with me.
