@candycane that's what all of my jobs have been, being laid off cause the company is scaling back. Next year will be 10 years but I still have that in my head that I'll be let go, especially if I'm out for a surgery or vacation. I feel like someone says oh we can do this without him and proceeds to let me go. It's why I don't take vacations.
Probably an irrational fear, I'm gone for a week on vacation and someone says or thinks I'm not needed and welp when I come back they let me go.
