Do you dislike colleagues who graduated from expensive universities?

Why do they automatically dislike you once they knew you came from this university? Sometimes you just wished you didn't say it :/

Saying where you attended school if you attended a formerly non co-educational school, a religious school, or a prestige school
will be taken by others as a brag by some. If the school is now
closed or it had a scandal it's even worse. Always a risk there.
Don't know what school you mean so it's pretty hard to know.

It's not bragging but of course if you were asked from which university you came from..you'll say your university's name and their like giving a face

@jadenightbird: I had to re-read the Q. It's not your college, then. People form pre-assumed notions of what a person should look like. It isn't from dislike.

You need to understand that people will reflect on you the view you think they hold about you. It will go better for you to bar thoughts of the reason for 'the look' as much as your mind may accomplish.

Winning over yourself is the easy part. Winning over others isn't even work, once you figure that part out.

@Noahkahol: "with what a person should look like" that's a scenario..

In my Q I was asking if they happen to dislike colleages from those universities and the answer should be reasons and notions..I want to know why..are you trying to tell me that I should correct my question? And why do you have to point out that its me..I didn't say I..lol

@jadenightbird: People are too unpredictable like that in my experiences. It took me many years to realize that appearance stereotyping was much of the confusion. I was referring to my scatterbraining with regard to the question. It's time to jet out here and I was frazzled a bit. Anyway, Have a good day jnb.
