Working from home today and I get a message from a coworker

Apparently someone in our building (not our company) committed suicide by jumping off the top floor, into the lobby. Glad I wasn't in today I guess. I will have to check on the others.

That's always sad, people who do that do it because life got so hard they ignored self preservation and self preservation is always very strong.
