Why don't people understand it by now?

People at work are mad to find out the factory literally never closes. It could be storming pig demons and the factory would still be working.

Everyone is complaining and I get it, but the CEO of the company couldn't care less about them and to think anyone above the managers here do is simply stupid.

This is capitalism, folxs. It doesn't care if you aren't safe as long as they either don't have to pay for it or have to report it. You are replaceable, so make sure you take care of yourself first because no one else is going to.

You can find another job but you can’t find another life.

depending on the factory and what it produces shutting it down could be a MAJOR undertaking

@Pretzel Our machines run, at max, a 48 hour run. It takes more time to start the machines up than shutting them down, which is why they don't want to stop. A shutdown can mean that 30+yr old machine that has been bandaided for the last 20 years won't start up without major repairs. That is the real reason. You stop them, getting them to restart can be a major issue.

Still not the employees' fault or concern. And if your employees die or wreck their cars because you don't want to properly maintain your machines, that's not okay.
