Former retail and food service manager here, sometimes a good manager will let an employee vent if it is for good reason, we understand stress at the work place happens, we will listen. Hopefully your issue got resolved.

@NativePortlander1970 I do not appreciate being made to constantly and consistently look bad or like a fool in front of everyone. They're newer to this industry and want to act like they know more than the veterans. I'm alright with someone learning if they are humble about it but this man loves to make me look like a clown reprimanding me in front of others while giving out misinformation while I was training and teaching new hires the proper way. They do this to me on top of turning around and asking me for help a moment later because I know my stuff. Well which is it then? Am I brilliant or a clown?
I told them that they need to stop spreading misinformation and to stop treating me like a moron one moment then a saviour the next.

@violentred Then your next talk is with HR, put in a formal complaint with charges of a hostile workplace environment, if they do not listen, then to the department of labor.
