I have so many work to do but I sabotage everything.

Please help.

I feel like this often, but no one can help me besides myself.

I get overwhelmed when I tell myself I have to do this and this and this, until I think, I have so much to do that I can't even start.

I get over this by breaking my mental "to do"list into sections of importance and tackling what I can each day according to importance.

I also remind myself...

I am sorry you are stuck, right now.

@NamesBatty I know a lot of self-help recommendation.
The elephant one and the frog one too.
And to-do lists as well

But sometimes nothing works.

I need something to move me right now.

@justanotherone I have one more thing to recommend that helps me. Especially if I get up and dance to it. I will share my secret weapon with you, but this might be something that only works for me...🤷‍♀

I do have one other thought. Sometimes when I am stuck, it is because what I have to do isn't something I enjoy, and I haven't been doing anything I enjoy for so long that I just can't face another mind-numbing thing to do. When I feel this way, I go ahead and do something I enjoy until I feel more motivated. It doesn't usually take me long to feel better. 🤗

These are all the ideas I can think of, but can I ask you a really big favor? If you figure this out, will you share your way of getting unstuck with me? I struggle with this a whole lot, too.

@NamesBatty This veggie dance doesn't do it for me. :-)

Ok, the last one is a good idea.

I will tell you as soon as I unstuck.

@NamesBatty Ok, I've tried something now.
I chose one thing which is very small.
I have done it in 5 seconds.
Then I took another very small one.

Now I have been working for 2 hours. Getting through the stuff.
