God puts us where we NEED to be, even if it isn't where we WANT to be.

I've accepted a job with another agency even though I was really wanting the job at the psychiatric hospital. I feel like even though I wanted the other job, God decided I need this one. So I'll make the most of it and give it my all!

I think the madness at your last post had to give. I'm relieved you've found a next step.

I hope you can have a far better experience!

@SomeMichGuy You know, eventually true colors will bleed through...
@Tumbleweed Yes.

Will your new post be on your side of the mountain, or your brother's side?
Tumbleweed · F
@SomeMichGuy My side. I have three interviews on his side next week but I've decided to stay close to home. The mountain is hard on vehicles & mine is old anyway.
@Tumbleweed Well, you can just take the public funicular rail, right? 😉

Smart.

But if you are looking to make that smaller move, scouting it out is smart.

@SomeMichGuy Yes!! If I hadn't locked myself into another year here, I'd go ahead & move to his side. But oh well...
@Tumbleweed I wonder if you could find them another tenant to assume the rest if your year...?
Tumbleweed · F
@SomeMichGuy If I knew somebody I could trust not to get me in a financial bind, my landlord would certainly allow it.
@Tumbleweed No, I mean transfer the agreement to them, totally. Not subletting it but having them sign to assume the balance of the lease / rental agreement.
Tumbleweed · F
@SomeMichGuy Oh ok, gotcha, yes she would allow that. I don't know anybody looking to move just yet though.
@Tumbleweed Well...maybe advertise by word-of-mouth, in the church newsletter, etc.
Tumbleweed · F
@SomeMichGuy Yes! True!
