@mysteryespresso You said it yourself.
But see, boss <> leader.
Good leaders are good mentors. You wouldn't use abusive to describe one.

Wait hold on, the letter sounds nice. Unless it has underlying threatening tyrannical layers we don't see? What's the story?

@Casheyane the email is a usual thing. There's praise. but there are also insults, boundary problems, lots of ethics problems -which isnt good bc we run a psych clinic, lots of 'i have to be better than you' s, no time off, controling behaviour, also our pay is so awful that we can't really take staying for the pay anymore. we stay for the tenure and are waiting for the next opportunity when it's available

@wackidywack Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get more fine opportunities presented to you. And I hope you can choose well and what's better for you.
To be real, I'm starting to see there is a lot of issues regardless of which field you are in this world. It's like humans create the problem. But most of us don't do enough to fix it. So systems are crooked. I'm in the corporate tech field. new company. Yeah, here, I can use the term poor management. And that is me calling it lightly.
