They want to include you and try to be friends with you. Build a connection, find something in common to talk about so work won't be boring.

If you can, try to be open and honest about what you like. But also, learn to set boundaries early ahead. Show them who you are but don't be too closed off or too aggressive about it. It can be a challenge to find the balance, but maybe it'll be worth it.
