It is my lucky day
It’s usually a multiple days long process to get police departments to actually listen to us and do what we say. Most conversations are:
“That’s not our job.”
Yes, it is literally your job.
“We don’t do that.”
Yes, you do. That’s why the judge signed the court order I just sent you that says you do exactly that.
“This order is old, it’s probably expired.”
Court orders don’t expire. And there’s also a sentence that states it is in effect until this persons last breath. It’s all by itself so it’s easy to find.
“We don’t arrest people that haven’t committed crimes.”
You’re not arresting them, you’re detaining transporting them. And they have committed crimes. The crimes are listed in the court order I just sent you. The one that doesn’t expire.
It is an endless battle.
And yet today I found a unicorn. A Sargent that not only was eager to comply but asked for help understanding what is expected of them.
I’m gonna buy a lottery ticket too.
