Can I ask why you’re home schooling?
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@WaryWitchWandering I always have but I used to be a stay at home mom so it was easier
Now though it’s the anxiety of public school in the us school system as far as worrying about if they will be safe

@MommaBear my son is two, so I'm starting to think a lot about school, and I have this fear majorly. And I'm in Canada. Lol.

@Notsimilarreally it’s so scary I hate that we have to worry about it
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@MommaBear we shouldn't have to worry for our kids safety in a place like school. The system needs to get their shit together and figure out how to prevent. Not only the violence, but the bullying. I've read multiple stories of little ones killing themselves over it. I recall one girl being like 10yo and hanging herself because she was bullied so badly. And kids don't talk about it with their parents all the time, you could have no clue what your child is going through socially in the classrooms.
