Into the office today (with Chiara)
I’m going to be in the office for a few hours today and I will take Chiara to lunch at about one, maybe at two, and afterwards we will go to look at shoes!
We both decided to wear summery dresses today and we managed to get a bus so as not to have such a long walk in from home. Although she is only eleven my daughter is becoming very womanly. She has a darker blue dress on because she got her period during the night, and I have some sheets to wash when we get back. If she has hers my monthly is just a few days off!
I’m sure she is coping well with it and she will be fine with school. I am not sure how she will feel if she has PE early in her new schedule but I think these three days are going to be about finding her way around the school, induction classes and Mass is going to be the priority until the first full week I fancy. She will cope with herself I am sure, we had lots of conversations about her period and she has adjusted to it stoically.
