So the good news is - I'm getting more hours AND it's with the clients I already have rather than new ones 30 miles in the opposite direction.

The bad news is - their house reeks of cat piss and gives me a bad headache and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the smell. And now I have to deal with it for an extra two days.
I love these people and am ever so grateful for the hours but wtf can I do about the smell of cat piss???

That smell is murder on my sinuses. Always causes a headache for me.

@TallMtnMedic Same. It gives me a headache from hell
@Tumbleweed Love the four-legged overlords, but yeah not that part.

Maybe vicks under the nose would help? I used it when I was a (much younger) medic and would have to deal with certain situations where the smell would hit you like a truck. It wouldnt stop the aroma, it would help lessen it though.

@TallMtnMedic I wish they would move the litter box to the other end of the house but then I'd be afraid it would confuse the cats & they'd definitely use the floor.
@Tumbleweed Cats dont get confused like that. Just move it, and show them where it is.

@TallMtnMedic Ok, good! I'll definitely do that then. That'll make it easier for me to figure out if it's the box or if they've gone elsewhere in the house. The front of the house doesn't smell at all, just the room where the box is.
