What do you do when your boss is screwing up?
Like my boss is a control freak, but there isn't enough time to be involved in everything... so he complains we aren't being independent enough and making our own decisions.
BUT any decision that is made by others, without his direct input, is deemed to be wrong... and we're made to go re-do it 5 times...
Also, his decisions making isn't consistent... so for a certain type of project, he'll say, ALWAYS do this...
But then you do that with that type of project, but he says, 'No, no, no", you can't do it that way...
Like you're the boss... you are making things hard on yourself, and the rest of us... I don't want to hear how we didn't do it your way, when you wanted us to make our own decisions, and I decided to do it the way you said to ALWAYS do it.... and follow directions, only to be made to re-do it 5 times because you weren't there for the input, after you were invited and decided not to be there.
Like either own it, and be willing to make all the decisions, or back off certain tasks and let them own it. This middle of the road crap is just pissing everyone off.
