Not a real petty person , this is valid

There is a woman at work. Been friends 2 years but when my step son died she did no such ( as i would for her )

Did not donate to a donation. For step sons 7 year old ... her reason was she didnt like my step daughter. ( had zero to do with step son donations

She didnt stop to pay her respects

She didnt send a card

There is a girl here at work she is friends with , i am too and girl lost her parents.

Mutual friend ( woman who made me feel like shit ) is going to girls service for her parents and has asked me to follow me bc its in my home town , she has been in charge of asking for donations & she has sent a card.

I am trying hard not to take it personal but how can i not & trying not to let it consume my brain.

I am friends with her but i dont go extra out of my way anymore

She wont even have lunch with me at work or meet me outside for dinner. She has sooo many excuses. Infact i spent $10 on booties for her daughters baby . I didnt have to but i did and i am just now as im typing feeling like crap

If she donated $100 where would that money go? If she doesn't like the step daughter, then that explains it.
Not a nice thing to do, but people are entitled to their opinions. I wouldn't think too much about it, it will only mess up your head.

@JamesBugman it was a real gofundme site. My step daughter is responsible and i was glad she was put in charge vs the babies mom. I just think that was a shitty thing to tell a friend( me ) and why take it out on a kid ? It was for the kid not step daughter.
@Enonnannej Money is only for the living. Honestly I never understand why people do a gofundme page when someone dies. Messing with peoples hearts and wallets and causing rifts like the one you are trying to explain here. You are mad at her because she didn't donate money to the step daughter. yeesh.
