You ever work with someone who has a “because I said so” mindset if you question why they want you to do a task?

Then if I go through with it and something goes wrong as a result the blame falls on me.

Sure I’ll just walk across a landmine every time this guy has a bad idea instead of him working on his ego

Yeah, it really does feel like a trap sometimes. I document everything or I ask for instructions in writing or in email when I can.
You didn’t deserve to be put in that position.

Absolutely, documentation is everything in nursing. I’ve worked in corporate too and I applied the same rule. It’s just frustrating when doing the right thing feels like a trap no matter where you are.
