Quitting my job of 10 years

My admin team sucks. I will do what I can in my small peon way to let them know how much they suck, but everyone knows that it really doesn’t matter. I’m replaceable and they know everything.🙄

I’m already hired elsewhere so everything will be just fine.

I did that a couple of years ago

it felt so good to walk out - I just told them I was burned out and didn't see any improvements forthcoming

2 weeks later - walked out the door - handed them my swipe card and keys and smiled

it felt weird

and good at the same time

my workplace went from bad to much worse, i finally gave 4 days notice and never looked back.
not all management cares about hiring the best talent, just a live body.
