So one of the ladies in the retirement community

I work at sold her car, bought a golf cart, wiped out in it & is now in the hospital and about to be sent to a rehab facility. No clue what in the world she was doing but it beat her up pretty badly.

Well a typical golf cart doesn't have seat belts and other safety features of a car. So you can fall out of it and get seriously hurt. Mine can provide a wild ride if taken too fast across uneven surfaces.

@WindTherapy eventually that won't be a option as it will be mandatory

@MarineBob I wouldn't be surprised. I'll keep my 80's vintage cart. It's an old Yamaha 2 stroke. It goes faster than most of the newer carts.

@WindTherapy keep it even if the laws change you're grandfathered in. Besides a set of belts is less than a round of golf

@MarineBob I don't golf. But it makes a handy device to roam around my acreage. 👍

@WindTherapy motor blows it's a cheap fix, owner of the country club switches his out with a garden tiller

@MarineBob Only issue is this engine is designed to run backwards. There is no reverse in the differential. I've seen some use 20HP twins in them. Lots of ways one could go with some ingenuity.

@WindTherapy get a new engine from harbor freight and rebuild the existing
