Well…the week is almost over and it can’t end soon enough
A CO beat an inmate for spitting on them and slammed her head into the wall
Since the inmate is coming in for an evaluation next week and has been exhibiting psychosis up to now, and probably will be next week as well, that makes them a vulnerable adult
Mandatory reporting kicks in so SVU is about get a whole mess of reports from everyone in the building, as well as our director who has kicked this whole thing up to Patient Advocacy
Which our PA rep is a woman with a seething hatred of the system and the law degree needed to actually do something about it, however small that something may be compared to the totality of it all
So I find myself, at the end of one of the craziest weeks we’ve had since I’ve been here, once against thrust into the middle of an absolutely cyclonic display of incompetence and those of us at the bottom springing into action
And in other news it’s my one year day today, so I’m no longer a probationary employee
