What should you do when your reputation is ruined ?

I had an argument which a guy at work, this type is the very uncivilised man you can meet.
He used bad words to explain himself of course I didn’t and I stayed cool.
I report all the shit he said and write to hrs. Now he is arming his stupid friends against me, they are trying everything to get me out.
