and we all went out for drinks tonight and when i went to leave he gave me a big hug and said that he loves me and will miss me so much so now i’m sad n listening to chiquita by abba omw home

Consider contacting him, depending upon his age, he may very well have an interest in a date with you.
He'll at least have money enough for a nice evening out with a real (not a chain restaurant or fast food) dinner and a good club.
And possibly hes a worthwhile person to see occasionally?
