@Musicman That's how they recoup their costs, by scamming to get workers, my oldest brother applied to go to Prince Edward Sound to help with the clean up with a crew, but got rejected when he asked how much room and board would be.

@NativePortlander1970 Very uncool! Now we have the motorhome so I can even provide my own room and board. All I need is a parking lot to stay in. A place to get fresh water and a place to dump our tanks.

@Musicman Are the KOAs and Sam Club parks filled up?

@NativePortlander1970 Yes! That's why we wound up in a small town called Ashford. The site is full hookups and only $40 a night.

@Musicman That's not a bad price considering KOA and Sam Club parks are most likely charging at least five times that due to adverse weather gouging being common after storms, the red cross being one of the worst.

@NativePortlander1970 We stayed at one of our favorite campgrounds when we were leaving the state. They clipped us for $82.50 for one night. 😡😡😡
