Need a Job?

Sarasota County Florida is looking to hire 220 five man crews to cleanup from hurricane Milton. So get together four of your buddies. Each crew must have 1 bucket truck, 1 pickup truck and 1 chainsaw.

@bookerdana I saw that too. It looked bad. I talked to some of our friends who stayed. Fortunately no one had any damage or flooding, but no one has electricity this morning.

@bookerdana Half the county is on well and septic. So no electricity equals no water. We will definitely wait for power to be restored before we go home. During Helene we only lost power for 10 hours.

@bookerdana We did get a phone call from the county, it was just a recording, saying the public water and sewer system was down and not working.

@Musicman Not good..after Sandy it was cold as hell🥶 I had every coat blanket and comforter on my bed or on my body...I guess whatever doesn't kill you does make you stronger

@bookerdana That is what they say. Right now temps in Florida are still 90 degrees during the day. So there is no chance of freezing. I didn't even bring a jacket. It's only 59 degrees here in Alabama this morning. 🥶
