Your opinion on this?

Last year we had a fire at work, health and safety and other inspectors investigated the issue, their conclusion was to use another piece of equipment for the job which isn’t used for that job, yesterday the same thing happened again, health and safety manager concludes that this time they will buy replacement parts for the equipment so we can use it again.

Am I going insane or is that batshit crazy? We’re the ones that have to use this eqiupment and the guy in charge of our safety is putting us in danger by not addressing the real issue, right?

@Starcrossed Me and my team leader spoke about it and I told him he should make a note of it because it’s upper management going above him, it would be obvious if we reported it so we don’t know what repercussions it would have so we’re not sure what to do if anything.
