Work and conversations
Okay so 1 guy out of 11 guys does not general talk with me. He only talks to me about work. After 5 years. We do banter and i admit its fun but its not very consistent and i tried including him in a asparagus convo with 2 other guys and he didnt coment back or seem interested , sooo ok that is fine. BUT when this other co worker , 50 yr old lady came in , i asked her about this spice i was telling the guys about , and she said she heard ... said this person told me.
It was the guy who only talks to me about work
Wth. Sooooo he can talk about it with her but not me. I dont get him. I ask how his holidays are or weekends , well i used to and the answer is always fine. So i did stop. He is private but he does talk to some people . Which i get it. I am private too with some. But we just started to joke after 5 years and i have reached out to let him know i remember him talking years ago about how he likes to play golf. I gave him some golf accessories . This is not why I am talking about this to get anything out of it. I am just sharing background history. We arent friends . Just co workers. 1 day out of 5 years i have had a normal convo when he had a half day of work due to golf tournament. He was happy not to have to work and he was relaxed. He didnt have to talk to me but he did and he , we enjoyed it
When i see he is in a bad mood , i dont talk bc i dont want to annoy him. But once a day he decides to banter. Which i admit i like. So its not that he hates me or dislikes me
But i cant seem to get normal convo out of him.
Ive told him a few things about my life.
He knows hubby ( hubby used to work here)
But ok ... he talks to other girls.
Soooo maybe its bc he knows my hubby ?
And feels weird about it. He is respectful. But ....not always nice. Sneaky with work at times.
He was surprised and happy that i remembered his birthday. I wished him a good day.
