I really think working in food service is bad for your brain

In nearly seven years at my job I finally blew up the other day. I'm not sure I want to be the calm guy anymore

Food service is really hard and a lot of people end up on hard drugs and an alcoholic

Be careful. Listen to your body and get out of that line of work if you can if it's going to cause you to break

@caccoon

I've been telling myself this for a while because I've felt myself burning out for years.

I just don't feel like I have anywhere else I can go (it's here or some place else like it) and this is all I feel capable of accomplishing. I know, that's a mindset I need to slap myself out of

@caPnAhab yes, absolutely! It's taking a toll on you

Look and see what's out there. Perhaps there is something else?

@caccoon yes, what I need to do is work towards my driver's license. I think that's the key to open up opportunities to for me.

Not just work but everything else

@caPnAhab yes, work toward that!!

I'm sorry you're in a rut in an unhappy workplace right now, but you can get yourself out of it!

@caccoon Thanks for the encouragement. Thankfully, I like my managers and coworkers. They make actually working bearable

@caPnAhab that is very important 💙💙
