What's a way to nicely tell a coworker they talk too much?

This job is work from home.
People are required to come in once a week.

This particular person has had to come on an additional 2 days a week, because they can't stay on top of their work.

As I type, said person is on their personal phone having personal conversation.

She gets up out of her seat multiple times a day to come over to my cube and talk about whatever thought pops into her head.

She shops a lot and Is always showing me what she orders and showing me the wreaths and other stuff she makes for people.

She tells me all of her kids problems and she's becoming a problem for me.

Have you tried exiting yourself from the conversation in various ways. Also not commenting much when she talks will make you boring. If the soft approach doesn’t work you can kindly apologize and say I need to get some tasks done. If she’s even more clueless you can speak to HR. They are legally required to not disclose to her that she is disturbing you with your work and they will take measures to reduce or eliminate her contact with you… how they accomplish that is not your concern… they may move her away form your work area or they may terminate her if she doesn’t get the point… anyone that clueless should probably get some help anyways.
