She said something along the lines of...

"Finally! You can go out and meet someone new. You can't meet my future son-in-law if you keep staying at home. I want you to go out, be seen and meet people."

@Queendragonfly Nope. I abide by honor your father and mother commandment. And I love mom. I just find these things funny. :)

And I don't tolerate anyone rude to mom. So while I understand the sentiment, I'd warn you be careful in what you say.
