If you live in a small town in a very isolated rural area everything in town closes up at 6 p.m. My sister-in-law moved to Arkansas and was scouting out homes & cafes to buy and said it was that way. Imagine getting off of work at a business at 6 and not being able to get food.

@cherokeepatti I pass by two place that are open, but fast food doesn't cut it. But noooo, the pizza place and chinese place close literally 15 minutes before I can even get there.
@thenormalkindofcrazy When I used to work the midnight shift, my buddies and I would go to Denny's on friday mornings before the weekend started and grab dinner, we'd get strange looks from other diners at 8am when we'd get our meatloaves, cheese burgers, etc., when they'd be having eggs and bacon, an omelette, or French Toast.
