I've hated every job I've ever had

Including this new one that I've had for 2 months.
I'm a one-on-one meeting with manager:

Manager: do you have any comments or suggestions?

Me: [insert suggestion]

Manager: that's not how it works around here. We don't do things that way.

So why tf ask for a suggestion then? 😐🤔🤨🙄🤷‍♀️

I’ve had jobs that I liked but people had to mess them up, micromanaging or whatever. It seemed they would change rules that were no real benefit to the job or production but made it harder on the employees.
