How come no one wants to hire you after you have like 25-30 years experience in your line of work?

Because they would have to pay you a decent wage. Also they know you won't take shit from them. Been there, done that. Started another career. Would love to retire.
@PoetryNEmotion i will never be able to retire. that thought wears me out
@SatyrService I left nursing for 3 reasons. Continued my other career I did on breaks from nursing. Who CAN afford to retire? I know an RPN who is 67 and is still working. She fears she will not have enough money. Meanwhile she has worked for about 38 years, is a borderline diabetic, and is a large, overweight woman. I think one day she will just drop dead. It is shameful that we must work so hard for so long. How much quality time do we have after retirement? I also know a woman younger than me who is quite capable of working. She lives on disability because she has a mental illness and runs around enjoying her freedom. My knees are shot yet I work full time. Where is the justice? You have to retire at some point. You need some you time before you are too old to enjoy it!
@PoetryNEmotion i struggle to make sure I HAVE a life, and pay my bills
my hope is to turn what I do for fun Intosome kind of income.
but i fear, dropping dead before I see the pyramids
@SatyrService I think many of us are struggling. Ending my career in nursing surely cooked my goose. Had no choice. What do you do for fun? Egypt is my dream holiday!
