I know that retirement age is 67 here in the US but...

what if one works at the same company for 30 years. Can they not retire from that job, regardless of their age after 30 years of working there?

For example, if I work at this job I'm currently at for the next 30 years, I'll be 61, with 30 years of service. Can I not retire from said job?
Or is this where you only get half of your money?

You can retire at 30 years on the job if you have the means or the company provides a retirement plan. One just can't collect full rate social security until 66 uears 6 months or 67 years depending on when you were born. If your age group is correct, I believe you fall into the 67 year group. There is talk of raising it to 70. Time will tell.
