This should not be an issue especially if you have bereavement leave. As for your boss answering texts that sound more like a them problem than a you problem.

Take the time that you need. I was a similar age when I lost a parent and it was tough. Remember also a job is a job. As well as supporting family make sure to take up people on offers of support for you. I wasn't good at this and looking back know it would of helped.

Finally do take time out to grieve and process what happened. I can't say it will get better but it does change with time.

I wouldn't worry too much. Go be with your Loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. Few things in life, are worse.

As for your boss, she is incompetent and devoid of feelings and emotions. She is really pathetic!

Now, max out allowed time, and be with your family! 😔🌺

So sorry your mother has passed away.
You should be fine. There must be a reason she has not read your texts.
All will be okay. You need time to come to terms with your mother's death.

I believe that if you have bereavement leave they cannot hold it against you. You don’t control when someone passes.

Sorry for your loss.
