Why do jobs conduct multiple interviews?

Phone screening; video interview; in person interview, why not do everything at once?? 🙄🙄

To really make us jump through hoops and to see how much bs we are willing to go through to get the job I think

@apersonnamedit No. It is expensive and time consuming for us to pay for a candidate to travel to us, put them in a motel, and spend two days with them. So we use preliminary online interviews as a screening process to help us narrow down the list.

We certainly do not want to inflict "bullshit" on the very people we hope to attract.
