What would you choose?

Fulltime remote job that pays lesser or a job with hybrid-setup, 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, where you would travel for 2-3 hours (with traffic) and pays 40% higher than fulltime homebased one?

Gotta do a cost benefit analysis. Not only the monetary, but the personal and social. It may or may not be a good move. It may be a good interim or temporary move.

@Darin99branch The second option sounds enticing, bigger company, better pay. Tried both, though not hybrid . But working from home is my comfort zone. I feel I can maximize myself without distractions. After work I could just decide where to go and who to meet.

@TessDun I’ve done hybrid and had the long commute. It is a pretty nice arrangement. Strikes a nice balance between enough pay and enough personal time reclaimed.
