What would you choose?

Fulltime remote job that pays lesser or a job with hybrid-setup, 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, where you would travel for 2-3 hours (with traffic) and pays 40% higher than fulltime homebased one?

It would be tough for me to give up being at home, but if I was offered a hybrid job tomorrow at a 40% increase, I would take it. The only caveat is work/life balance. My last hybrid job that paid me at that rate had no work/life balance. I wouldn't go back to that.

@BrewCityBarfly Honestly it’s quite difficult to decide. Work/life balance is equally or more important.

@TessDun If I was in the middle or start of my career, I might give up some work/life balance to not only make bank, but also set up for a 10+ year run. Depends on, using the old cliche, where you see yourself in 5-10 years.
