There’s a job opening at work for a quality control inspector

It’s the same pay grade as my current job and I’m thinking about bidding for it. A couple of people have expressed interest but I have more seniority and similar experience.

I wouldn’t mind the change. I think it would be less stressful inspecting parts instead of running a bunch of different machines to make them but I’m always hesitant about change. So I’m waffling a bit.

I've also debated switching from production to quality. But the quality job looks too boring to me.
Handing out the red tags is awfully appealing though lol
@SooperSarah
We actually don’t get many failures at inspection. The crew here is pretty good at what they do.
I came to the job looking for low stress but ended up taking on a challenge to do more specialized work in a different area than I applied for.

This seems like a good opportunity to get back to a low stress position.
@Onestarlitnight We don't have many failures either. But the testing they do is so monotonous. I need something more challenging and stimulating. For me that's being on the end that keeps failures low, even if it is stressful at times.
