I guess I owe about £250…

A guy at my work does coffee rounds every day at work, I declined at first but he told me he gets them for free. So I said yeah, told him what I like and I have been getting a coffee delivered to my desk every morning for 3 months.

It appears they aren’t, in fact, free. I’m part time and it appears everyone returns the favour with this guy in the afternoon. Apparently he’s just very, very nice to me. Those things are at least £4 each. I told him to send me an invoice 🥴

@BlueVeins hope not because he’s very married and happens to be twice my age 😝

@Raffiki More likely sees you as a platonic daughter. I don't believe I felt the need to say platonic, but just in case some people think I don't mean a normal daughter relationship!

I don't know how bad I'd feel about it. He's nice for including you but if he never mentioned it costing him money and that everyone else pays him back, I wouldn't feel wrong because he never let me know it was costing him so much each day

I'm not sure I understand. He told you he gets them for free correct? So he lied to you and now you are expected to pay him back based on a lie he told? I'm not sure you owe him anything, but a thank you.

@Bigcitygirl He has expressly told me not to pay him back, but I will attempt to 🤪

Maybe set up a payment plan

I would never pay for that shit if the deliverer told me it was free. They're either trying to make me look like a fool or they're trying to gift me it, in either case it's not something I should pay for.
