I've been invited to a snack hour at work
We have the weekend off for the holiday and tonight is our last night for the week.
My shift has a fair number of Cambodian employees, the town has a significant Cambodian community going back to the end of the Vietnam War..
So anyway, I've enjoyed working with the people and last week I was quietly approached by one of the women who asked me to join them for food tonight.. it's only for a few people who created this among themselves..
I was surprised and pleased to be included..
I always try to be especially polite and respectful of the older women here and apparently they appreciate it. 😊
