I’d just get bored with sitting around and doing nothing. I’d much rather work really slowly and take breaks inbetween.

If they didn't pay me hourly and paid me for productivity, yes. I think companies need to give encouragement, not negativity, and not look for ways out of paying. But I do stipulate, if I've done what they have asked in those two hours, I get to go home, and if I stay I'll continue working, and they pay me more.

It would depend on my work.
If my boss would add more work to make up for the next 6 hours i would do it all at the end.

I'd do it and get it out of the way

I would do it slowly before lunch then finish it up aft lunch so the day doesnt drag on
