Okay I'm finally comfortable saying this in public.
I used to be a DoorDasher. This is a PSA to other DoorDashers: stop being an entitled dick. If you show up to a restaurant and your order isn't ready yet, wait for it patiently. If you have to get your own straws or other extra items because they're on YOUR side of the clerk's desk, kindly get them.
Just be nice to partners (the person preparing your customer's food) when bad things happen that aren't their fault. Most of the time, they're not lazy nor rude. Things went wrong that were out of their control.
Just because you're clocked in doesn't mean you're royal. You're at work and these are your coworkers. Be nice and be professional.
