Just finished my Equality, Diversity and whatnot training at work.

I think Ive decided it’s safest not to speak or take an interest in colleagues ever again in case they or a third party find a reason to claim discrimination.

The clincher is the statement that - there is no clear definition as to what is unacceptable banter, as this is subjective to the persons involved.

Well. Got a mortgage to pay, can’t be taking risks like being happy.

Ive made it a point to ask on any job hunting, "do you support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace?"

Then i listen to the answer. It usually falls into two camps. the ones who enthusiastically jump on the bandwagon, and ones who say "yes we do" and say nothing more. The latter group is usually more pleasant to work with.
