Just finished my Equality, Diversity and whatnot training at work.

I think Ive decided it’s safest not to speak or take an interest in colleagues ever again in case they or a third party find a reason to claim discrimination.

The clincher is the statement that - there is no clear definition as to what is unacceptable banter, as this is subjective to the persons involved.

Well. Got a mortgage to pay, can’t be taking risks like being happy.

The world is going crazy with all this nonsense. When I was in the army, we all laughed at each other for everything and nobody took offence. It was part of life. Now we're getting afraid to speak - we'll all live online or retreat to ghettoes with our own 'type' in case of accusations of racism, sexism, ageism or ism-ism.
