Ughhh I hate difficult customers.

Finished a contract and client refuses to pay for all the extras (in excess of $5k) to which she had agreed to pay by text when we discussed the changes to being with

Now I’m going to have to go through the whole process of collections, filing a suit, going to court, etc.
🤦🏻‍♀️

@Fungirlmmm exactly. That house was remodeled above standards and is impeccable.

Then she had the audacity after telling us she’s not paying the extras because her budget didn’t include them I told her I have her texts agreeing that she’d pay the extra for the change in service. She said that it was ok.

I asked her why she was asking for extra work if she knew she didn’t have the money to pay it.

Anyways after telling us she wasn’t paying the extras she demanded we send in a cleaning service. (Which we usually do, but not when there are unpaid balances) she decided she was going to hire a cleaning service and pay$500 (deducted from our principal) in addition to not paying the final $3k from the original estimate 🤦🏻‍♀️

So we’re out 8500+ just like that

@pedrohedgerow I agree, both from a religious and a genuine morale standpoint. If more people handled life that way we would have more harmony.
