£18k work from home job... Seems low right?

In and outbound customer service role full time 8-6
35 hours...
Seems rather low to me no?
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Seems legit if honest.
You dont get paid much in customer service
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Gangstress never... I've never had the opportunity to.
I have applied and applied like crazy but I can only assume because I have dyscalculia they avoid my application form.

I've applied even for trainee pension role and today the woman said they're looking for someone with the experience more suited to the role!
Ha. As a trainee?
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@Mellowgirl most financial roles arent even maths based so i dont get that. I rarely use calculations and if i do i use spreadsheets.
And like you said for a trainees role that should be open to anyone

I dont know what the going rate is there, but 18k here is like super low.
The minimum wage is around 24k and even that is hard to live on these days.

Sounds decent to me. Its a hell of a lot more than i earn for 33 hrs a week..
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@RubySoo shocking that you'd stay in a job for that low wage!
That employer was probably laughing!
RubySoo · 56-60, F
@Mellowgirl thats going rate for a teaching assistant. Yes, we get better holidays than most, but its just minium wage.
